Port Blair, May 16: An unidentified dead body was found lying in the ground of Sewerage Pumping station PHED, APWD at Junglighat near fish landing center this afternoon.
As per reports, later after investigation, the man has been identified as Mr. Apal Raju, 59 years, son of late Jagan Nath, resident of Junglighat. Sources said Mr. Apal Raju was a homeless person. The exact reason of the death is not yet known but it is suspected that he died because of dehydration or heart-attack. As per reports, a case of unnatural death has been registered in the matter and the dead body has been shifted to the GB Pant hospital for Post Mortem. (Additional Input: Avinash Shahi & Roopa Lall)
