Port Blair, Mar 26: Independent candidate of 2019 LS Elections, Mr. Paritosh Haldar today organized a press conference at Hotel TSG Emerald and shared his vision for the Development of the Islands.
Mr. K.P. Abubakar and Mr. Uday Shankar both supporters of Mr. Paritosh Halder and Mr. Anshuman Roy youth President of Bangla Joint Action Committee were present on the dais with Mr. Halder.
Mr. Paritosh Haldar, retired manager of Allahabad Bank and former leader of Congress Party for many years had recently resigned from Congress Party and took this bold step to contest LS election as an Independent Candidate.
He assured that if he is elected as Member of Parliament this time from these islands he will focus on the issues of the unemployment and demand Assembly or a Pradesh Council for these islands. Other than he said he will work for 100 percent job reservation for Island youths in all government jobs and development fisheries as well as tourism industry.
“The farmers should be supported with the minimum support price for their well being and better progress” he said.
