Port Blair, Feb 20: On Tuesday night evening thick smoke filled a STS bus which was going towards Ferrargunj from Port Blair. The incident occurred at Tushnabad Junction area, which left many passengers in panic state.
But three youths of Tushnabad, Mr. Ameer, Mr.Mustafa and Mr. Ravi area shined during this incident, because of their quick response and presence of mind.
According to the local Jeep Union President Mr. Mohammad Arif and Pradhan of Mithakhari Mohammad Safiq, as soon as these three youths saw smoke coming out of the bus, they alerted all passengers and helped them in de-boarding the bus.
As per reports these youths did not stop there, they got inside the Bus, when all passengers were out and reportedly removed a wire from battery, which was the main reason behind the thick smoke and could even lead to a Fire Accident.
Local Jeep Union President Mr. Mohammad Arif and Pradhan of Mithakhari Mohammad Safiq appreciated the brave acts of these youths.
