Port Blair, Feb 11: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray , the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has appreciated NHIDCL officials, who worked whole heartedly to formulate a meticulous roadmap for execution of projects, which involved complex bottlenecks like CRZ clearance, forest clearance and last but not the least, the scarcity of good quality stone aggregates combined with limited rainless working period.
Mr. Manoj Kumar Verma told this reporter that it was a great remark for NHIDCL team, as the team never expected such appreciation from the Member of Parliament.
Our NHIDCL employees and workers are not taking rest and they are trying to complete the road works at the shortest time period and I know we will do this on time.
Mr. Ray reportedly wrote a letter to Mr. Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport & Highways, mentioning that “I have no hesitation in saying that the NHIDCL officials handled each of these stumbling blocks very professionally that has made the project getting executed today at fast pace thereby making local people extremely happy as none of them including me had thought of bridges coming up on Middle Strait and Humphrey Strait so fast. I hope and trust that NHIDCL shall keep maintaining it’s good reputation in the Islands in future too.”
Mr. Ray expressed his gratitude to Mr. Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport & Highways on behalf of all of Andaman residents. “I once again thank you for your great vision which has led to unbelievable development of the Islands thereby resulting in improving the economy by creating jobs, business opportunities for the local people,” the MP added.
