In this budget provides No income tax for income up to 5 lakh, Individuals with gross income of up to 6.5 lakh need not pay any tax if they make investments in provident funds and prescribed equities, Package of 6000 per annum for farmers with less than 2 hectares of land. Scheme will be called Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, One lakh digital villages planned in the next five years, 25 per cent of sourcing for government projects will be from the MSME, of which three per cent will be from women entrepreneurs, New Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana a Mega Pension scheme for unorganised sector workers with income up to Rs 15,000 per month. Beneficiaries will get Rs 3,000 per month pension with a contribution of Rs 100 per month after retirement. Govt allocates Rs 500 crore for the scheme and Gratuity limit increased for workers to Rs 30 lakh. Decision taken to increase MSP by 1.5 times the production cost for all 22 crops.
He also thanked the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, for the Ayushman Bharat, the world’s largest healthcare programme which was launched to provide medical care to almost 50 crore people, resulting in Rs 3,000 crore savings by poor families.
