Port Blair, Aug 03: As per initiative and direction of Lieutenant Governor, the District Team headed by the Deputy Commissioner (SA), Shri. Rupesh Kumar Thakur would be visiting Guptapara area this time for redressal of grievances of general public on Aug 4, 2012 as a part of campaign ‘zilla prashasan dakshin andaman aapke dwar’.
The interaction would be held at Gram Panchayat Bhawan Guptapara under this campaign. The residents of Manglutan, Guptapara, Manjery, Humfrigunj, Indra Nagar, Nayasahar villages have been asked to join for redressal of their grievances. They have been asked to bring along all related documents.
During this campaign, meeting would be held with PRIs, local residents and matters pertaining to Revenue, other departments and of general development work would be dealt with at 10 am onwards.
In this context, the Pradhan, Guptapara Gram Panchayat and Tehsildar Ferrargunj have been asked to prepare a list of all pending matters/ applications with them so that the same could be taken up during the above said campaign.
The progress of various development works under execution/completed in the area under MGNREGA, MPLAD, PRI Schemes etc would be reviewed and inspected also.
All local heads of respective departments have also been asked to participate in the campaign, a communication from Asstt. Commissioner (SA) said.
