Port Blair, Aug 01: The first day of August came with a lot of troubles for SBI customers, especially government servants who wanted to withdraw their salary.
Dozens of dozens of puzzled, troubled and harassed SBI customers could be seen making bee line infront of two ATM counters of Mohanpura, as some of other ATM counters were out of order, like always.
The ATM of DC office Campus was shut down while the ATM next to CCS was out of order, which left ATM customers running from pillar to post to withdraw money.
Finally most of the customers had to stand in long queue for hours, infront of two ATM counters of SBI Main office to get their money. Others were forced to use ATM counters of other banks.
Not only this, it has been found that most of the ATM counters are unbelievably dirty and stinking. Sadly neither the SBI has any customer care number of a Public Relations Officer to register complaints in this regard.
