Port Blair, August 01: It is notified for information of all concerned that in entire Port Blair Municipal Council jurisdiction no Advertisement in any manner whatsoever upon any land, building, electric pole, telephone pole, compound wall/retaining wall, park, tree or structure etc. can be displayed without seeking prior permission from the Secretary, Municipal Council as provided under Clause 11 of Municipal Council Advertisement Bye-Laws.
It has been noticed that advertisement/hoarding on various lands, notice board/cloth banner on electric/telephone poles/handrailings are erected/displayed either without the permission of the Municipal Council or violating the terms and conditions of the permission already granted.
The Advertisers of these unauthorised displays and defaced walls are cautioned to remove the unauthorized advertisement as well as restore the defaced wall within one week of publication of this notice failing which these will be removed by the PBMC at the cost and risk of the owner/advertising agency.
