Port Blair, Jan 04: It has brought to the notice of the general public and government department that power supply will remain suspended at Part of Junglighat, Vijay Baugh, Dairy Farm complete as per schedule given in connection with repairing of pipe line by APWD at Junglighat in front of Dori Lall Mill at Junglighat on 05.01.2019 (Saturday) from 0800 Hrs. to 1400 Hrs.
It has further informed that urgent maintenance of 2×33/11 KV 10 MVA power transformer at Garacharama Sub-Station is scheduled to carried out on 05.1.2019 from 0700 Hrs. to 1200 Hrs, due to this feeder wise one hour loading on as and when required basis will be carried in the Bhatu Basti complete, Laxmi Motor Area, Pathergudda, Setlite Colony, New Pahargaon, Agency House, Garacharama complete, Austinabad, Prothrapur, Carbyn’s Cove, Brichgunj, Brookshabad, part of Chakkargoan, Dollygunj, Attompahar, Old Pahargaon, ICMR Colony area, part of Minnie Bay, part of Dollygunj, part of School Line, Minnie Bay complete, CARI, AKT Miniplex, Bird Line, Calicut, Kamaraj Nagar, Beodnabad, Rangachang, Burmanallah to Chidiyatapu, Sippighat, Teylarabad, Bimblitan, Manjeri, Guptapara, Manglutan, Wandoor, Chouldari Tushnabad, Port Mount, Tirur, Templemyo, Ograbranj, Chouldari Lal Pahar, Tsunami Shelter, Mithakhari, Namunaghar, Dunduspoint & Hathi Tappu area on 05.01.2019, from 0700 Hrs. to 1200 Hrs.
The time mentioned in the schedule is tentative which may change subject to completion of work. The inconvenience caused is regretted, as said in a press release by B.Ajit Kumar, Executive Engineer (HQ).
