Port Blair, Dec 28: During the main function to be held at Netaji Stadium on Dec 30, 2018, as part of the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of first flag hoisting by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Port Blair on Dec 30, 1943, a cultural programme will be organized by the A&N Administration. Renowned artists from mainland, Mr. Salman Ali, winner of Indian Idol-10, Mr. Soumya Chakravarty, Top 10 Runner up of Indian Idol-10, Ms. Avanti Patel, Top 10 Runner up of Indian Idol -10, Ms. Sanah Moidutty, Best singing sensation of the year at Asiavision awards 2017, Mr. Avinash, finalist in ZEE TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and performer in Indian Idol- 4 and Mr. Rishabh Shankar, the youngest Percussionist at the Ottawa Jazz Festival-2104 will be performing. People have been asked to reach the venue by 2 PM.
