Diglipur, July 26: In a bizarre incident, a Constable of A & N Fire Services, today committed suicide after killing his two sons at Diglipur, this afternoon. According to details available here 37 year old Gautam Sadhak, posted at Diglipur Fire Station, hanged himself from ceiling after hanging his six year and one year old sons.
According to reports available here Gautam had lost his wife nearly three months back when he was posted at Billyground area of Middle Andaman and presently his parents were arranging his second marriage. Gautam was all set to marry another girl on 30th July 2012 for which casual leave and advance money were granted today. According to reports, Gautam handed over Rs. 10,000 to his mother today and asked her to go for shopping but as she left for shopping Gautam took this extreme step.
The situation was so painful this morning that even police jawans broke down into tears after seeing bodies of one year and six year old children, hanging with ceiling.
Eyewitnesses told Andaman Sheekha that a suicide note was found at the spot in which it was written that “I am going to meet my wife, and my children will meet their mother.”
