Port Blair, Nov 18: The Airtel is reportedly testing 4G network in Port Blair city and from some places of Port Blair city, Airtel users have reported that they have received 4G signals in their mobile phones.
Although officials of Airtel are tightlipped in this matter but sources said that presently since last nearly two months such testing of 4G equipments are going on in Port Blair city and hence some users might have seen 4G signal indications in their mobiles. Further details are awaited. It is still not clear that in absence of a submarine OFC how Airtel will launch 4G in Andaman.
