Port Blair, Nov 04: A 8 Feet long King Cobra snake was caught from the retaining wall of a house situated at Prem Nagar Near Kali Mandir. On information Deputy Ranger Mr. Manjit Singh, the snake man of Andaman, reached the spot and rescued the highly venomous King Cobra Snake, weighing around 2kg.
Later the snake was shifted Haddo Zoo as the snake was in Moulting Period (Shedding of Skin in Snakes). After Moulting, the snake was safely released inside reserve Forest area.
