Port Blair, Nov 04: Sighting of two Crocodiles near the Manglutan Junction area on Saturday has triggered panic among the villagers of the region.
As per reports, some villagers of the area sighted both the Crocodiles in a nallah, situated behind house of Ms. Shanti, Manglutan Junction area.
The matter was immediately reported to Forest Department and soon the Quick Response Team reached the spot.
The team however could not spot the crocodiles even after inspecting the entire area but for safety of people a cage has been put on the nallah to shift the crocodile from the place, if any. A staff of Forest department has also been deputed near the area for keeping watch on movement of crocodiles. Further details are awaited.
