Port Blair, Oct 22: A resident of Sippighat Tsunami Shelter, Mr. Hazrat Mandal, has been arrested by a team of Humphery Gunj Police Station on 16 October for cultivating Ganja Plants in the backyard of his Tsunami Shelter, built by Government.
As per reports, four plants the Ganja, of nearly 1.5 meters in length, were seized by police from the said backyard and the accused was arrested by police. Later the accused was sent to Judicial Custody, it is learnt.
