Laxmipur, Oct 05: The bye election of Laxmipur ward no 1 under Gram Panchayat Laxmipur, Diglipur is scheduled to be held on 21 October. The election will be held due to death of ward member Tapan Sutradar.
While filing the nomination for the bye election the Congress party noticed that out of 282 voters in 2015, names of 41 voters are missing in 2018 thus presently there are 241 voters.
Now Congress unit has requested the Asst Commissioner to conduct the election process as per 2015 Voter List and also demanded that action should be taken for the inappropriate deletion of the voters by the concerned officials.
