Rangat, Oct 03: As many as, 11 people have been picked-up from Rangat area yesterday after discrepancies in identity proof documents were found by police.
Although, no arrest have been made yet in this case but they have been sent to CCS Port Blair for further interrogation. The matter was reportedly brought into notice of police by people of Rangat, who accused them as Bangladeshi, it is learnt.
However, now sources have confirmed that CCS has found that the people in questions are not Bangladeshi but confirmation in this regard is still awaited.
