Port Blair, Aug 27: The National Service Scheme (NSS) of JNRM today organised a voluntary Blood Donation Camp at JNRM in the Auditorium on 24th August 2018. Altogether 40 students donated blood. Dr. M. Joy, Project Director, ANACS, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Dr. Joy narrated the importance of being a blood donor. Dr.Ganesh Sammadar, Deputy Director, Blood Safety, GB Pant Hospital also participated in this camp and distributed certificates to the volunteers. Along with the students faculty members of JNRM also donated blood.
The camp was conducted with the help of the team from GB Pant Hospital and Andaman and Nicobar Aids Control Society, Port Blair. The camp was coordinated by Dr.Kandimuthu, Assistant Professor in Economics and Programme officer NSS.
