Port Blair, Aug 26: A review meeting of MPLADS was held in the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner’s Office, North & Middle Andaman under the Chairmanship of Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament, UT of Andaman & Nicobar on 26th August, 2018 at 10.00 AM.
At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner, N&MA, Mr. Awanish Kumar, IAS welcomed the Chairman alongwith the all the PRI members and officers present in the meeting. Subsequently, the MP reviewed the status of ongoing MPLADS works department-wise and urged all the concerned executing agency to complete the ongoing works on or before December, 2018. He further, reviewed the status of recommended works and accordingly directed the officers of the executing agencies to submit estimate(s) expeditiously so as to accord necessary sanction such that the works may be completed at the earliest.
The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the Chair and greetings to all the members on the eve of Rakhsha Bandhan by the Deputy Commissioner, N&MA.
