Port Blair, Aug 24: Humfrygunj police have arrested one person & recovered huge quantity of IMFL.
On 21.08.2018 Humfrygunj police received information from reliable source that one person carrying huge quantity of IMFL in a Motor Cycle bearing Reg. No. AN- 01/H-3172 was riding towards Guptapara. On this information, police team comprising PC’s Gulshan Mohammed, Surendar Singh Yadav, Sikendar Khan, SushmaBaidya and SiniRaju headed by Insp. K. Binoj, SHO PS Humfrigunj immediately intercepted the Motor Cycle bearing Reg. No. AN 01 H 3172 near Bambanallah and on checking 17 bottles of 750 ml IMFL kept in a Shopping Bag were recovered from the possession of the rider P. Sasi Kumar (42) yrs, R/o Murdakhadi Road, Garacharma which he was transporting without any valid document/license. He was arrested under section of 32 Regulation III of 1876. Further investigation of the case is continued.
