Port Blair, Aug 16: The Nagar PalikaMazdoor has met the Chairperson Municipal Council under the guidance of Sh. Vishal Jolly, Patron in connection with the regularization of 249 casual mazdoor attached with various units of Municipal Council.
Mr Vishal Jolly, Patron has highlighted the plight of 249 Casual Mazdoor working for the last 18-20 years without getting their status regularized.
The Chairperson has assured the delegation, that the regularization period of the 249 Casual Mazdoor will be initiated within 7 days.
The members of the Nagar Palika Mazdoor Sangh whole heartedly expressed their sincere thanks to Mr Vishal Jolly & the Chairperson Mr.Inder Pal Singh for considering their request and showing the humane gesture towards the grief’s of Nagar Palika Mazdoor.
