
Port Blair, Aug 03: A delegation of Hindu Seva Sangh led by the Member of Parliament Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, met with the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi in his office. A letter with charter of demand was also handed over to the Prime Minister Modi, which includes demands like reservation of jobs for the islanders under the A & N administration, filling up of the vacant post under the administration, Formation of Unified Central Hindu Board and reservation of job for the economically backward rather than caste, creed or religion basis.
The HSS team also presented a “Shankha” as a mark of momentum from Hindu Seva Sangh & invited PM, Modi to the A & N Is, which he accepted and promised to visit island soon.
