Port Blair, July 19: On 16/07/2018, after receiving credible information by SHO PS Aberdeen that one person namely Tarak Mondal R/o Dollygunj is arriving at Parking area near Raj Niwas Annex Carbyn’s Cove in order to sell illicit ganja and he has huge quantity of Ganja in his possession. On this, a police team comprising of HC/V. Hentho, Regan Wagh, PC/D. Shiv Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Sudeep Kumar, Vinod Linya headed by Inspector A.K. Singh, SHO PS Aberdeen were formed under the supervision of SDPO (SA) Shri. Nishant Gupta. The team intercepted the person and recovered 3.5 kg of illicit ganja from the possession of accused namely Tarak Mondal 44 yrs R/o Dollygunj and he was arrested under NDPS Act, 1985 and sent to Judicial Custody remand.
