Port Blair, July 15: The IGNOU Regional Centre, Port Blair has conducted “Meeting of Coordinators and Programme In-charges”. The Coordinators and Programme In-charges of Learner Support Centres of entire A & N Islands i.e. Port Blair, Hut Bay, Kamorta, Campbell Bay, Mayabunder and the part-time faculty members/ academic counsellors who are engaged in teaching and evaluation activities for IGNOU students attended the meeting.
The newly established IGNOU Programme Study Centre-0212P at Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences, Port Blair for Bridge Programme –Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (BPCCHN) was inaugurated.
Dr. Monika Priyadarshini, Secretary Health, A & N Administration, Dr. N. Francis Xavier, Principal, JNRM, Dr. Jahanavi, Programme In-charge of PSC-0212P, Dr. Siddaraju, Dy. Director, ANIIMS, and faculty members of ANIIMS, Port Blair and 30 newly admitted BPCCHN students attended the function.
The function was held at Conference Hall, JNRM, Port Blair on Saturday, 14th July, 2018. Dr. T. R. Satyakeerthy, Assistant Regional Director, IGNOU, RC, Port Blair coordinated the programme. IGNOU student identity cards and study materials were distributed to all 30 students during the inaugural function by Dr. Monika Priyadarshini.
