Port Blair, July 15: A Blood Donation Camp was organized by National Highways & Infrastructure Development Cooperation Limited (NHIDCL), Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Govt. of India in association with Lions Club of Aberdeen (Andaman) at Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School, Aberdeen Bazar (Port Blair), to celebrate the “4th Inception Day of NHIDCL”.Shri S.K Yadav General Manager (P) NHIDCL delivered the welcome address followed by keynote address of Smt. Ratna Kannan, President Lions Club. The Chief Guest Shri K. R. Meena, Principal Secretary (PWD, UD, Energy and Medical & Health), A&N Administration addressed the large gathering of blood donors, volunteers & habitants of Port Blair and emphasized on need of blood donation for the service of mankind. The vote of thanks to the Chief Guest, Officers of APWD, Members of Lions Club, Blood Donors and medical staff of GB Pant Hospital was acknowledged by Shri Ashok Pareek, Deputy General Manager (P), NHIDCL.
