Port Blair, July 13: A tribal lady, 38 years, was found dead inside her house at Kamorta today morning after which she was shifted to Kamorta Hospital. According to report the lady sustained burn injuries yesterday night itself however her body was recovered only today.
Meanwhile police department is carrying out investigation in all possible angles, including possible murder and self immolation. The lady and her husband, both from Car Nicobar used to live in power house colony of Kamorta Island.
Sources said that the PME has already been carried out but reports are awaited. Meanwhile, it is also learnt that a Forensic Team could reach Kamorta tomorrow for further investigation. Police team of Kamorta is presently waiting for medical and Forensic report before jumping to any conclusion.
