Port Blair, July 11: The Member of Parliament alongwith Mr. D. Krishna Rao, President, Sujit Dewry, Secretary and 15 Executive Members of the State Part Time Education Employees Association met the Chief Secretary in his Chamber at 11.30 AM on 11.07.2012 in the presence of the Secretary Education.
The meeting was held to decide the continuation of the Part Time Employees viz. PTT, PPT,PTA, SCC, SCM, PCC,PPA & CI etc. during the academic year 2012-13.
The Chief Secretary patiently heard the grievances brought by the Office Bearers of the Association and the Chief Secretary sympathetically considered the problems they face now and directed the Secretary Education to accord orders for continuation in their respective posts during the academic year 2012-13
The matter was also taken up by the MP in the State Planning Board Meeting held in the Raj Niwas on 15.06.2.012.
