Port Blair, June 11: The Hindu Community of Bamboo Flat area created history by hosting an Iftar party for their Muslim brothers. Mr. J.L. Tak & Mr. Dilip Kumar & team organised an Iftar party today at Community Hall, Valluvar Nagar. More than hundred people from Muslim Community attended the programme.
Welcoming the gathering Mr. J.L. Tak apprised that conducting such programme is need of the hour. All speakers have praised the organisers for taking such a positive step to create communal harmony in the society.
On this occasion Mr. Ali Umari, Imam MIM Masjid Wimberly Gunj gifted a Hindi translation of the Holy Quran to Mr. J.L. Tak & team.
Mr. Dilip Kumar thanked the gathering for accepting their invitation. Proper arrangements were made for Iftar followed by Namaz.
