Port Blair, May 15: One person of Chuna Bhatta area of South Andaman was arrested yesterday by Andaman and Nicobar Police on the charges of Rape.
As per detail a 55 year old lady of Chuna Bhatta area had lodged report that one unknown person had entered inside her house and finding her alone, he committed rape. The 55 year old lady is living alone in her house.
Sources told Andaman Sheekha that as the victim was unable to provide proper details of the rapist, it became impossible for police to identify the culprit. But showing tremendous effort the PS Bambooflat identified the accused and arrested him. The Accused identified as Loknathan (about 34 years), is said to be a fisherman.
