Port Blair, July 08: The Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidhyalaya, Port Blair proposes to utilize the service of resource persons for delivering guest lectures on as and when required basis during the academic year 2012 – 2013 in the disciplines viz. Hindi, Chemistry, Plant Science/ Botany, Computer Science, Physics, English, BBA, Environmental studies, Telugu and Zoology.
The Guest Lecturer shall be paid @ Rs.250/- per lecture with a ceiling of Rs. 10,000/- per month. The assignment is purely on temporary basis depending upon the availability of the teaching load in the concerned subject.
The engagement of guest faculty will be in accordance with the Recruitment Rules/UGC guidelines in force. Candidates possessing Good Academic record with at least 55% marks at the Master degree and have cleared NET/SLET for Lectureship will be preferred. In case of non availability of NET/SLET qualified candidate, Candidates with Ph.D., M.Phil degree or having required percentage of marks in PG shall be considered.
Interested candidate can attend walk in interview at 10 AM on 12th July, 2012 in the chamber of the Principal along with resume mentioning qualification and experience. Those who have worked as a guest faculty in JNRM in the session 2011-2012 are also required to submit fresh application, a communication from its Principal said.
