Diglipur, Mar 29: A Capacity Building and awareness camp on PMMVY held at Diglipur on 28th March at Conference hall of Administrative building with collaboration of Health Education, Rural development & ICDS.
Mr. Shyamal Mondal Pramukh panchayat samiti Diglipur was Chief Guest on this occasion. Up-Pramukh, Pradhan Sitanagar, Samiti member Sitanagar, CDPO Diglipur and District Programme Coordinator PMMVY N & M Andaman were present on this occasion. About 170 women ladies including AWW of Diglipur participated in the programme.
After lighting lamp by Chief Guest, the programme began with the speech by Smti Irene Nicolas, CDPO, and Diglipur. District Programme coordinator Mr Ashok Halder shared the scheme of PMMVY with beneficiaries that providing the amount of Rs.5000/- mostly for pregnant and lactating women for proper nutrition for the first live child and mother also.
Dr Amir Khan CHC Diglipur imparted message on health and nutrition for pregnant ladies, proper food and focused on the importance of micro-nutrients.
