Diglipur, Mar 27: The toilet block at old fish market at Diglipur bazaar will now remain open round the clock, which will bring a big relief for night ATR bus passengers and many others.
Andaman Sheekha had carried this matter on Feb 06 and reported that the lone Toilet block for Men & Women at Diglipur bazaar is kept closed since night till morning, for unknown reasons, while many passengers travelling to various place in night buses find it extremely difficult to respond to Nature’s call.
Now the concerned authorities have ordered to keep the toilet block open round the clock, which is also being maintained well, now-a-days. Along with this, the newly constructed toilet block adjacent to Administrative building is also operative now, as Pay & Use.
What are the prescribed rates for using pay and use toilet blocks. No rates are displayed any where.
Every toilet block are charging differently and more over the blocks where there is no sign of pay and use are also charging and many can be used are free of cost.
Are community toilet blocks, toilet made under swatch Bharat mission to be paid and used?
At least prescribed rates should be displayed at every block.
