Port Blair, Feb 28: A novel, titled ‘Antatah: Ek Romanchak Itihas’ penned by local author Mr. Krishna Kumar Vishwendra, a thrilling story (historical fiction) based on true incidents of the life of an Hindustani Soldier of British East India Company was launched by Mr Bishnu Pada Ray, the Member of Parliament, A & N Islands today at the Ryan’s Restaurant, Dollygunj.
During the launching ceremony of the book Mr Bishnu Pada Ray appreciated Mr. Krishna Kumar Vishwendra and wished him well on the launch of her book. He encouraged Mr. Krishna Kumar Vishwendra to keep writing.
During the occasion Dr R.N Rath, Renowned Educationist & Writer, and Anandi Ranjan Biswas, Member of Sahitya Academy, A & N Islands was the Guest of Honour. Special Guest on the occasion was Mr Naresh Chander Lal, Padmashree Awardee and Member C.B.F.C.
