Port Blair, Feb 22: A two day long PHC level training programme was conducted at Community Hall, Humphrygunj. ASHAs and ANMs / AANMs, on general wellness & prevention of common alignments including “Diabetes Mellitus” through AYUSH System under PHC Manglutan.
Today the programme was started with the welcome address by Dr. Supria Arangi GDMO (Homoeo).
The function continued by lighting the traditional Camp by chief guest Mrs Baby Fareeda, South Andaman Zilla Parishad Adhyaksha, and the Guest of Honour Mrs Sahai Mary, Pradhan, GP Humfrigunj & Dr. Varun Parekh. Medical Officer I/C PHC Manglutan.
Mrs Baby Fareeda expressed her views and importance of AYUSH System in this Era and the role of ASHAs & ANMs in the society. The inauguration function was concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Smita Lall, GDMO (Homoeo).
After the inaugural function the training program was further continued by the resources persons Dr. Santosh Rath, GDMO (Ayurveda), Dr. Saranya, GDMO (Ayurveda), Dr. Supriya Arangi MO (Homoeo), Dr. Smita Lall GDMO (Homoeo) and Mr. Ajith Das (Yoga).
