Diglipur, Feb 7: The village road at ward No 4 at Sitanagar Gram Panchayat at Diglipur, which was blocked by the villagers due to alleged poor quality works, was rectified and today proper road construction work began.
Andaman Sheekha on 4th February carried a news regarding this issue, pointing out that in spite of protests by the villagers, the contractor continued poor road construction works.
Today Pradhan of Sitanagar, Mrs. Bulbul Mistry along with JE APWD, Ward Members and the villagers who were objecting the work, visited the spot and rectified the fault by asking the contractor to put better materials.
They also solved the problems related to the material procurement for the better road construction.
