Diglipur, 25 Jan: As part of the National Voter’s Day, a function was held today morning at Conference hall at Administrative building at Diglipur. The Asst. Commissioner administered voter’s pledge to all the eligible voters presents on this occasion and gave away Electoral Photo Identity Card to them. Asst Commissioner felicitated Booth Level Officer Mr. Kameswar Rao, Forester, Aerial Bay for his outstanding grassroot level works and gave away prizes to students for scoring first, second and third position in the essay competition, Drawing & Painting Competition organized to mark the occasion. The main purpose of celebrating the day is to generate awareness among all voters, especially new voters about their right to vote and participate in the election process, Asst Commissioner said on this occasion. Executive Engineer APWD and Tehsildar Diglipur present on this occasion alongwith general public.
