Port Blair, Jan 23: The Andaman & Nicobar State Cooperative Bank has organised a Rangoli competition on the occasion of Pongal at Dairyfarm area on 17.01.2018 for the Self Help Group members of the area to embark the spirit of festivity. Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Vice Chairman of the Bank was the chief guest on the occasion.
Mrs. Anju Malhotra, Fashion Designer, Mrs. Sabiha Mulla, Director APT Logistics (Amazon SP) and Mrs. Anuradha Lall, Social Worker attended the competition as Judges and gave their valuable support in the successful conduct of the programme.
On the basis of the demand of people of area, the bank had organised Rangoli competition at the Dairyfarm in which over 11 groups participated. Chintamani SHG, Shiva Amrita SHG and Dayamanti SHG bagged 1st, 2nd & 3rd Prizes. A total of over 5 consolation prizes were also distributed to the groups who have participated in the competition.
The programme ended with vote of thanks proposed by Smt. Elizabeth Mary, Women Development Officer of the bank.
