Port Blair, July 02: A five-day training programme on Preparation of Development Plans at Grassroot Level for the Panchayat Secretaries has been organised by the Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs in co-ordination with NIRD, Hyderabad in the conference hall of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman from 02nd July to 06th July, 2012 It was inaugurated by the Addl. Secretary-cum-Director (RD/Panch) Shri. A. Nedunchezhiyan on 02nd July, 2012. Altogether 44 Panchayat Secretaries are participating in the training programme.
