Diglipur, Dec 31: The 74th Anniversary of First Flag Hoisting day was celebrated at Diglipur Island too in a befitting manner on 30th December. Thiruvallavur youth club around 07 am organized a function in this regard opposite to AC office at Childrens park where at the statue of Netaji Subhash Chander Bose floral tributes were offered by Thiruvalluar Youth Club members along with the general public present on the occasion. In this connection the Settler’s offspring welfare organization also organized a programme at Diglipur. In this programme the students of GSSS Subhash Gram also paid floral tributes alongwith President and the Secretary, SOWO.
