Port Blair, Dec 26: In connection with the celebration of the Makara Sankranti 2018 the Andhra Association, Port Blair is conducting various programmes. For school childrens programme (drawing & painting), essay competitions, elocution & quiz programmes which will be held on 31.12.2017.
In this connection sports competitions like volley ball, carrom, chess and tug of war was also organized. Various cultural programmes like fancy dress competitions, one act play, skirts, singing songs, instrumental play, solo dance, duet dance, group dance, magic, yoga, mimcry, etc were held and for ladies – rangoli, spoon race, musical chairs were also held.
The programmes which will be held from 05th January, 2018 to 13th January 2018 which will be opened only from Telugu origin. All the Telugu organizations, clubs and individuals are requested to participate whole heartedly for grand success of the programme. The last date for entries of school children programme is 29.12.2017, last date for entries of sports events is 03.01.2018 and last date for entries of cultural events is 05.01.2018.
