Port Blair, Dec 17: A small Salt Water Crocodile of length around 1.5 meters entered inside the Lotus Pond of Biological Park, Chidiyatapu a week ago, which has been recently sighted by the villagers and staffs of the Biological Park.
It is believed that during the mega high tide a week ago, this croc might have entered the pond, through a nearby drain.
Villagers told Andaman Sheekha that as per them altogether three Crocodiles are roaming in Chidiyatapu sea shore area, out of which two Crocodiles are very huge in size and the third one is a bit smaller.
Andaman Sheekha has learnt that a team of Forest Department has also started working to trap all four Crocodiles. Further details are awaited.
