Port Blair, Nov 28: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray Member of Parliament has been consistently pursuing the matter with the Home Ministry and also the Ministry of Finance for the benefit of additional 13th month’s pay and for the Risk & Hardship allowances to fire fitting staff of this UT Islands.
In pursuant to repeated efforts of Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, M.P., the Ministry of Finance (Department of Expenditure), GOI vide their Resolution No.11-1/2016-IC dated 06.07.2017 has allowed the benefits of “Risk &Hardship allowances” to the Fire Fitting Staff of Central Government and UTs by giving retrospective effect of implementation from 1st January, 2016.This is an efforts of BJP Govt. to introduce Risk & Hardship allowances to the Fire Fitting Staff of Central Govt. and UTs in first time.
Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Arun Jetly, Minister of Finance of BJP govt. for extending financial benefits to the Fire Fitting Staff of Central Govt. & UTs.
