Port Blair, Nov 24: One of the Engine of Vessel MV Swarajdweep reportedly failed on the way towards Chennai, following which the ship is cruising slowly towards Chennai Port.
As per sources, the Vessel left from Port Blair on 21st November, 2017 and was supposed to reach Chennai today, but it didn’t and it is learnt through sources that the vessel is going to reach Chennai only by tomorrow morning.
Passengers who are at Chennai to come back from the aforesaid ship to Port Blair are now in dilemma as they don’t know whether the ship will sail back or not.
Andaman Sheekha tried to contact the, Director In-Charge, DSS, Mr R Veeraih but he was not reachable over phone, for a comment.
