Port Blair, Nov 24: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands Mr Bishnu Pada Ray, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude/ pleasure to the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands Admiral D.K. Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd) for his time bound action/direction to the department concerned to address the various issues raised by the Member of Parliament pertaining to Campbell Bay, Great Nicobar Islands immediately, such as Shipping, Health, Transport, Forest, Revenue, Tribal welfare matter, setting up SBI, MPLAD, Education, c/o of community toilet blocks, MGNERAGA works, BSNL, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Fisheries, Civil supply etc.
Specific direction also issued to the concerned officials to submit reply to the Member of Parliament and also inform the position to the Lt. Governor on or before 24.11.2017.
