Port Blair, Nov 22: The Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, Andaman and Nicobar Islands expressed heartfelt condolence on the demise of Com. Sukomal Sen, Ex-M.P. He was 83 years and passed away on 22.11.2017 at Kolkata. He spearheaded many movements of Central and State Govt. Employees and Workers especially the struggles against New Pension Scheme. He was the former General Secretary of All India State Govt. Employees Federation and Vice- President of CITU. His contributions and guidance to strengthen the Confederation of Central Govt. Employees and Workers will be remembered forever. The Association dips with its red flag in memory of Com. Sukomal Sen.
