Port Blair, Nov 19: A 21 year old youth, a resident of Billyground namely Ashutosh Mondol died on the spot in an accident that was reported at Corbyn’s Junction at 01:30pm.
As per reports, the deceased was trying to overtake a truck because of which another bike rider that was coming from the opposite direction at very speed couldn’t control the bike and collided with the bike. Because of the collision the deceased reportedly hit the truck and died on the spot.
Two youths on the other bikes sustained injuries and are now admitted in GB Pant Hospital. A case has also been registered in the Aberdeen Police Station in this regard. Further details are awaited.
