Port Blair, Nov 16: The Crocodile that killed a youth last Sunday has claimed to be caught today. As per reports, a 4.05 meter long Crocodile was caught by Forest Department which was kept in the Seashore in a cage where the youth was attacked at Wandoor Beach.
As the Crocodile was caught alive but the shoot and sight order was not followed and as per insiders in the Forest Department the Man Eater Crocodile will now be kept in the Zoo forever. This is quite evident now that this Crocodile is very dangerous now and releasing this fact Forest Department is very cautious in taking each step.
It is learnt that another Crocodile of 2.6 meter length was also caught on another cage which was kept on the other side of the Wandoor Beach and sources said that the said Crocodile will be released soon.
