Port Blair, Nov 15: In connection with the consecration of the newly constructed Church, the “shrine of St. Gregorious of Parumala” at the premises of St. Mary’s orthodox Syrian Cathedral at Mohanpura will be inaugurated at 7:15 PM on November 18, 2017. The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Shri. Udit Prakash Rai will inaugurate the “SHRINE” in the presence of the resident Acharya, Chinmaya Mission, Port Blair, Swami Shuddhananda Saraswathi. His grace Dr. Yuhanon Mar Diascoros, Metropolitan of Madras Diocese will preside over the function.
A Cultural programme by the Sunday school children viz. Welcome Song, group song & Dances Besides a power point presentation about development of Orthodox Churches & Its Activities in A&N islands will form part of the function
