Port Blair, June 28: The Member of Parliament of A & N Islands, Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray has taken up the matter of revival of the extension of LTC facility to permit government employees to visit A&N Islands in lieu of home town at par with the relaxation extended to the government employees to visit Jammu & Kashmir and North Eastern Region with the Prime Minister of India, the Home Minister of India and the Tourism Minister of India as well as the Lt. Governor of A&N Islands.
In reply to the letter, the Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, GoI, Mr. V. Narayanaswamy has intimated Mr. Ray that the matter is being looked into through the concerned ministry, a communication from the MP Bhavan said.
