Diglipur, Nov 14: The 64th All India Cooperative Week Celebration was celebrated on 14th Nov at Gram Panchayat hall, Diglipur. Chief Guest on this occasion was Pramukh Diglipur. Representatives of ARCS, Cooperative Societies, Cooperators, SHG members and a large gathering of people.
The Pramukh informed that there are limited scopes for Govt. Jobs and hence all the youths are advised to get themselves trained in various courses. He further added that all skill based programmes should be linked with the motive of not just enrolment but also actual work. He also opined that with the support of Cooperative dept, Bank, Coop. Union and various other Coop. Institutions, people can gain knowledge, training and improve their socio-economic conditions.
Speaking on this occasion Pradhan Subhash gram appreciated the efforts of cooperative sector to spread awareness about cooperative movement in these islands. She also briefed about the importance cooperative movement, cooperative societies and self help groups. She emphasized on people’s awareness about ‘cooperation’ in as much as in the present days of unemployment, ‘cooperation’ is the one and only medium open to the isles’ youth to get their self-employment.
At the end she urged all the people to come forward and make Coop. Societies and thereby exceled in various field. Manager ANSCB Diglipur and Aerial bay were also present on this occasion.
